We strive to provide a recreational balance of athletic activities, creative and performing arts, adventure, and nature to maximize summer fun and excitement. With over 50+ activities, there is something for everyone!

Healthy Meals - Tall Pines Day Camp

Healthy Meals

Our extensive menu includes 20+ unique meals throughout the summer, over a dozen alternative options each day, as well as a daily snack. We are sensitive to the needs of children with food allergies, Celiac, and Vegetarian-friendly and nut-free!

Camper Safety - Tall Pines Day Camp

Camper Safety

We have certified nurses on duty and a doctor on call at all times during the camp day. Tall Pines is State Certified and American Camp Association Accredited.

Description of Divisions

Junior Camp - Tall Pines Day Camp

Junior Camp

Ages 4, 5, & 6 (For campers finished grades Pre-School, Pre-K, and Kindergarten)
Must turn 4 by August 31st.
Average Group size: 14 campers with 3-4 staff.
Weekly special events catered to Junior Camp.

Middle Camp - Tall Pines Day Camp

Middle Camp

Ages 7, 8, & 9 (For campers finished 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade.)
Average Group size: 18 campers with 3-4 staff.
Elective Club Program twice per week.
Optional, weekly Horseback Riding Lessons.
Optional participation in Tall Pines Theater Club

Senior Camp - Tall Pines Day Camp

Senior Camp

Ages 10, 11, & 12 (For campers finished 4th, 5th, or 6th grade.)
Average Group size: 18 campers with 3-4 staff.
Elective Club Program once per week.
Optional, weekly Horseback Riding Lessons.
Optional participation in Tall Pines Theater Club.
Two, off-campus trips for campers completed 6th Grade

CIT & LIT Camp - Tall Pines Day Camp

CIT & LIT Camp

CITs – Age 13 and completed 7th Grade.
LITs – Age 14 and completed 8th Grade.
Prepares campers to become staff members by combining the roles of camper and Junior Counselor.
Split day between participating in camp activities and assisting staff members as a practical learning experience.
Assignments rotated periodically for a variety of different experiences.
Optional participation in Horseback Riding and Theater Club.
Weekly trips to exciting places at no additional cost.
Weekly training workshops.

Fast Facts About Tall Pines

  • Camp begins at 9:25 AM – ends at 3:50 PM.
  • The camp day consists of nine forty-minute periods per day.
  • Each camper has a lunch period and a snack.
  • Campers have one instructional and one free swim period per day.
  • Campers are grouped by gender and the grade they completed in the spring.
  • We have so many activities that it takes two weeks to get through them all!
  • Fully planned rainy day schedule. Although it “never rains at Tall Pines”, it never hurts to be prepared!
